Coffee re-starting before Cornerstone

We are restarting coffee/tea at Cornerstone from this Sunday 13 March, but we are reverting to serving before the service at 5.45pm. Do enjoy a cup of coffee and a chance to catch up with each other before the service, of course that doesn’t preclude conversations after the service too! We are encouraging people to bring their own re-usable cups where possible.

Men, we need you!

Come and join this special opportunity to demonstrate your thanks and appreciation to the women in our church family.
When: Saturday 26 March at 10.00am
Who:   Men of all ages – bringing scissors and garden secateurs
Why:    To show our appreciation of women at Mothering Sunday services
What:  Working together to create 200 posies to give away

Also: Wednesday 23 March
Calling men and women gardeners and those who have friends with gardens! For our posies we also need tons of greenery cut into short lengths and put into deep water for 48 hours. Can you deliver your greenery to the Stable building anytime on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24.
For many years Herta Kingdom and her small team has spent days preparing posies for women as a thank you for all the ways in which they serve in the church. Herta will be away for a much-deserved break this year. Can the men at All Saints rise to the challenge of creating 200 posies?

I’ll meet you all on Saturday 26 at 10.00 at the Stables and let’s see how long it takes us to get this glorious task done! Thank you. Carrie Britton

Seasons of change

This is the second piece in our series, in which women reflect on God's faithfulness through different chapters of life. Patsy's life is a whirlwind of change. Married two years ago after a short engagement and now expecting a baby and preparing to move, she reflects on some of those changes, how the church family can bless singleness and how she's been learning to trust God in His perfect timing. Not many of us will be about to get married, but do take time to listen. The body of Christ grows in love as we listen to and learn from and build each other up. You can watch the interview by following this link.

Praying for the Church Family

Please continue to hold in your prayers those known to you who may be especially in need of God's comfort at this time and especially for:

Chris Sexton
Please continue to pray for Chris, David and Fay Jones' son-in-law, Chris is now out of CCU and back at the Marsden in Sutton continuing his treatment. He is still very weak. Pray also for his wife, Jack, and their university-aged children, Katie and Joe, as well as David and Fay.

Lu and Roger Seymour
Please continue to pray for Lu's rehabilitation

Al and Sarah Paxton
The results of Al’s scan recently were encouraging and showed an improvement in his heart’s function. He will have another scan in six months to see if it has improved further. Please continue to pray for Al.

Mayvor Osgood
She and her husband Keith have been linked with All Saints for a few years now and split their time between the UK and Sweden. Please pray for Mayvor as she is in the middle of six months of chemotherapy following surgery for bile duct carcinoma, and for Keith as he supports her through this. Pray especially for her CT Scan on Friday 18 March, which will show how well the treatment has worked.
