We are very thankful for what the Lord is doing in the Cristo Redentor Church! Please pray for Pastor Percy Padilla, assistant Oscar Loyola, and their work in the Parque Industrial neighborhood. This is our youngest church plant in a very challenging neighborhood of Trujillo. The five new members in this photo were received on the Sunday after Christmas, and are the latest in a recent growth spurt that we've experienced. The number of young men in particular, who are rejecting the allure of violent gangs and embracing Christ is very encouraging! Please pray for these new believers, for the ministry leaders, and also that our COVID-delayed expansion of the Christ Kids ministry to this neighborhood might become a reality this year!

Geneva School

Geneva School started its new academic year on March 1! We have grown to K3-7th grade with an enrollment of almost 250 students. After two years of pandemic restrictions, we have been allowed to return to in-person classes three days per week, with two days per week devoted to online studies. The situation will be evaluated each month in hopes that very soon we will be allowed to return to all in-person classes. Children, parents, teachers and staff are happy to be back, and expecting a great year. Please pray for the Gospel to bear much fruit among the children and their families, and for strengthening ties between the families and the Cristo Restaurador Church. Pray for wisdom and stamina for teachers and staff, and pray that in 2022 Geneva School would be a shining light for Christ throughout Trujillo!

Meet Noé and Lurdes Advincula. Noé is from the city of Huánuco in the central highlands of Peru and Lurdes is from the Moche district of Trujillo. They met at university in Trujillo where they both studied modern languages. Lurdes is the founder and director of Trinity Language Institute and Noé is the director of our Christ Kids program. They are members at Cristo Rey Church where Noé is a deacon and together they lead the youth ministry. Please pray for Noé and Lurdes and their ministries to children and youth in Trujillo.
