TWO OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRANT COLLABORATION 
NFWF Grant Coordination Event on March 21
Manheim Township Public Library, Morgan Center at 1 p.m. 

Bring your ideas, draft applications (if you have them!), and enthusiasm for collaboration to the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) Grant Coordination meeting on March 21, hosted by the Partners. Meet with partner organizations to connect, coordinate, and prepare NFWF applications…and perhaps even get a jumpstart on future proposals, too! 

Event specifics: 

  • Coordinate BOTH Small Watershed and Most Effective Basins grants.
  • The event is FREE but registration is required.
  • A light lunch, beverages, and snacks will be available. 
  • Language on the common goal of clean and clear Lancaster waterways will be shared to use in applications.

Clean Water Fund Information Session on March 23
Meet digitally on Zoom at 10 a.m. 

Join the Lancaster County Community Foundation (on Zoom!) to learn more about the Lancaster Clean Water Fund grant opportunities, requirements, and how to apply. Bring your questions and ideas!

This grant cycle, the Community Conservation and Implementation Small Grants are open NOT the Implementation Large Grant. Both grant opportunities aim to address the immense need for clean water work throughout the county, and provides financial support to bring ideas to life!

Community Conservation Partnership Program Applications Open, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
Applications due April 6, 2022 
DCNR’s Community Conservation Partnership Program (C2P2) grant can fund various projects related to riparian forest buffers, waterway conservation, statewide and regional partnerships, recreation and conservation planning, land acquisition and conservation, trails, and park rehabilitation and development. 
 
Watershed Improvement Grants, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission 
Applications due April 15, 2022
Grants are available from the PFBC to address habitat improvement and sediment reduction projects in York and Lancaster counties. To be eligible, projects must be in York or Lancaster counties and be a habitat improvement or a sediment reduction project. This round of projects is expected to be announced in July. 
 
Huplits Wildlife Grant, Allegheny Group Sierra Club
Applications due May 1, 2022
Proposals are sought to help protect animal wildlife and wildlife habitat in Pennsylvania. Preference will be given to proposals that work in partnership with Sierra Club and are aligned with the goals of local PA Sierra Club Groups and require a support letter from the local group.
