From the Parish House
Leadership is crucial to the way in which we live in the world and organise our communities. It has become abundantly clear that leadership is also going to be the key to the future of the very planet on which we live. There are thousands upon thousands of articles and studies about what makes a good leader. Too often leadership is recognised by its deficiencies.

Living Lent
The series by Fr Frank O'Loughlin continues this week with One Season: Lent and Easter. In the recent past, Lent has been given much more emphasis than the season of Easter. There was a sense that once Easter Sunday came, the special time was over. However, what we have is actually one long season stretching from Ash Wednesday to Pentecost.

Recently Deceased and Anniversaries
Let us pray... that those who have died may sit in glory at the feet of Christ especially Jacqueline Crock, Patricia Herrick and Marge Rosevear, and that those whose anniversaries occur at this time might continue to know God's love, particularly Eileen Lescai, Amy McPhee, Kathleen Owen, and Norma Rifner.
If you would like a particular anniversary of death remembered in the weekend newsletter and Prayers of the Faithful, please contact the Parish Office by phone or email.
