Djeran 2022

Kaya / Hello,

Welcome to the City of Kalamunda Library Services Djeran e-newsletter.

Djeran (the season of adulthood) brings cool nights and early morning dew. Winds change to a light breeze and flying ants can be seen. It is the season for red flowers and the banksias start to flower, ensuring nectar for the small mammals and birds that rely on this food source.

This season the Libraries have school holiday activities, author talks, workshops and more!

What's on @ your library?

Author talks

This season we have author talks from Holden Sheppard, Juliet Marillier,
Sasha Wasley and Alexander Thorpe as well as local children's author
