Other notable stories:
Interview with Elliptic Labs' CEO Laila Danielsen in connection with the company moving from Euronext to the Oslo Stock Exchange main list. In my view, too many unique Norway-made technologies are sold way too early, whereas Elliptic Labs has chosen a different path and instead successfully built a company and distribution around their core technology. There's no doubt much of this is due to Laila's skills, drive, and ambition. Well deserved recognition. Link ($)

Introduction to Oslo-based micro VC Spike Venture. Link ($)

Long list of female early-stage investors in Norway. While we're far from adequate gender diversity, things seem to be moving in the right direction. Link

Gig marketplace Luado did 14MNOK in revenue last year. Link

From abroad:
Ben Thompson with some interesting perspectives on what the internet has done to the spreading of ideas. The abundance of content on the internet has led to most people leaning on “aggregators” for information, which in order leads to most people more or less blindly supporting “the current thing” - whatever that is. An ironic but unfortunate consequence of this is that it also becomes more difficult to oppose said view -  the more information we have available, the harder it is to oppose the mainstream view. This is definitely not solely positive, especially knowing that many of the things we find “right” today were previously considered “wrong”. Link

Twitter thread with 10 Series A pitch tips from Ferdi Sigona. Very good, and most of these are applicable for earlier rounds as well. Link

Kyle Harrison on the “unbundling of VC”, and how the preferred financiers of startups in the future are more likely to be individuals rather than firms in the traditional sense. This very much reflects my view on what is happening in the market; his quote “founders don’t come to you, you come to them” is very on point. Link

Logan Bartlett with a deck on the “state of the current market”. Great intro to the correction we’re currently in the midst of, as well as some good suggestions as to what this might lead to in the coming months. Link

Climate crisis tracker: The atmosphere is filling up with CO2. We must avoid a level of 450 parts per million. Current level: 417.9ppm (12 months ago: 416.8ppm, likely to exceed the target in 8-13 years).
