Join us for a lunchtime presentation featuring Jane Sperling Wise to explore skills in self compassion. We know that in order to do our best to help others, we need to be good to ourselves.
Jane Sperling Wise serves as the Director of Foundation Operations for the UC Berkeley Foundation, working closely with the campus’s Board of Trustees. Prior to coming to UC Berkeley, Jane served as a director and development director in Bay Area non-profits for over two decades. In these roles, and as a facilitator and organizational development consultant, she enjoyed bringing her collaborative approach to facilitation, leadership development, community-building, and strategic planning to non-profits, foundations, and change-makers.
A graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, Jane holds a Masters in Social Work with a focus on management and planning from UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare. She received a BA in English and American Literature from Harvard University. Jane is a trained mindful self-compassion teacher through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.
