Dewey will share historic maps and land surveys of San Rafael, featuring significant early locations, neighborhoods and land use changes, and also the artistry of selected early maps. In some cases, the images will move through time with the use of old maps, historic aerial photos and current-day satellite images, showing patterns of settlement and development of the valley, hills and marshes.
