2022 Annual Dues

Annual Dues or Inactive fee payment are due March 15th.  Payments must be postmarked or paid online by March 18th or a $40 late fee is added.  If dues or fees are not paid by April 18th the late fee is $90.  Now that the Club membership system is online, all transactions are web-based. The 2022 Dues Notice was sent to members only via email.  We no longer send postal mail.  If you haven’t seen the email, please check for it.  If you don’t find it, go to DLSC.NET and click the [Member Login] button on the DLSC homepage. Enter your User Name and Password to go to your account page.  All members have an account.  At the top of the page hover your cursor at [Your Membership] until the drop-down appears.  Click the [Annual Dues Notice] to see the notice.  Your account status is always tracked using the DLSC membership number you got when you joined the Club, which may be different that your Member Splash Account#.  Ignore Account#. 

If you indicated in the membership system that you are sending a check, please be sure to mail it to DLSC PO Box 87, Dunn Loring, VA 22027 before the deadline or the late charges will apply.

We’ve Got Your Number! 

Well, actually we have two numbers.  When records were loaded into our new online membership system, Member Splash, a Member Splash Account Number was created.   In many cases, but not all, this number is the same as the DLSC number you’ve been using since you joined the Club.  Regrettably, when Member Splash created its own “Account Number” for each membership, sometimes, unavoidably, this number is different from your DLSC number.

You may notice this difference on your Account page in Member Splash, which displays both ACCOUNT # and DLSC #.  Ignore ACCOUNT #.  We’re still using your DLSC number at the front desk and for accounting.  When you make a payment, your account is kept based on your DLSC number.  But you may notice that your invoice shows the Member Splash ACCOUNT# and not the DLSC #, causing concern that the payment was not properly credited.  In all cases you can ignore the ACCOUNT#.  Your payment is always credited to your account as you signed into the system, without regard to what you see on the invoice.

Dive Team Announcements

Hi everyone!  Cindy Hatchl here.  The past 2 years as Dive Team Rep have been quite the adventure.  While I’m looking forward to working again with all of our coaches, divers, and parent volunteers, this summer will be my last as a Team Rep.  Pre-season is a great time for someone new to learn the ropes before the hustle and bustle of season activities take over.  If you’re interested in becoming a Dive Team Rep, please reach out to me at cindy.hatchl@gmail.com.

Dive Parent Volunteers - Mark your calendar for the following NVSL Dive Clinics.  The NVSL and the Dunn Loring Dive Team is run entirely by volunteers. In order to run a dive meet, we must have a referee, judges, table workers, an announcer, and a team representative. The NVSL is offering training for these positions on the dates below.

Judges Clinics - Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer as judges!  Attend one of the three sessions below to learn the rules of scoring dives.

DLSC Swim & Dive T-shirt Contest!!!! 

Calling all creative ideas for the 2022 DLSC Swim & Dive team t-shirt. Designs should be submitted by April 15, 2022 via email to cindy.hatchl@gmail.com and acrclaire@gmail.com  

Design rules: Submit design on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper; Up to 2-colors + indicate t-shirt color choice. Note that the design will be on the back of the t-shirt.

DLSC Swim & Dive Team Registration is expected to open on April 11, 2022.  Team website updates with details on the 2022 season schedule in progress.
