Dr. Leslie specializes in treating depression and PTSD in children and adolescents with an academic interest in immigrant and refugee trauma. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University and completed her residency in psychiatry at the Loma Linda University Medical Center and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with youth in her personal life as a Big Sister and youth club instructor, as well, and believes in the ability of every child to thrive and succeed with proper support and mentorship. Her goal is to educate people on the importance of attending to their physical and mental health since both aspects of health contribute to wholeness and true healing.

Coralwood Adventist Academy in Edmonton is Looking for Volunteers
Coralwood Adventist Academy is looking for volunteers willing to give 30-45 minutes of their time to students online to prepare them for the CAT/PAT exams in the spring. Due to COVID, our students could use the extra help. Whether it is reading to a student, helping them practice their multiplication, or assisting a junior high memorize Chemistry formulas, your help is appreciated.  If you are interested please contact our Home & School leader, Ceri at (587) 778-6539.
