Updates
- With the rain in the last two weeks, the best we can tell is that Eagle Lake went up approximately 1 inch. It is now 900.36, which is 13.2 inches above the NLL. Due to the ice, Crooked Lake is difficult to read but appears to be 895.15, which is about .36 above their NLL.
- Over the past few months, Prein & Newhof, Drain Office, and Township staff have been working to resolve the AIS (primarily zebra mussel) concerns. There has been conversations with EGLE representatives on how to best resolve these issues. We have determined that there are two options at this point, one that is proven and one that is not. We need to determine which option makes the most sense for EGLE, the residents, Township and the Drain Office. We hope to have more information at the next Task Force Meeting.
