Financial impact, risks and uncertainties due to the crisis in Ukraine

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (the "CySEC") wishes to draw the attention of issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market or on the Emerging Companies Market of the Cyprus Stock Exchange, to article 17 of the Regulation (EU) 596/2014 on market abuse, concerning their obligation to inform the public as soon as possible of inside information which directly concerns them.

Recommends adjustments to the proposed EU Green Bond Standard as regards securitisation transactions

The European Banking Authority ("EBA") published a report which analyses the recent developments and challenges of introducing sustainability in the EU securitisation market. The EU sustainable market is still at an early stage of development and the application of sustainability requirements in securitisation appears to require further clarification. The report examines how sustainability could be introduced in the specific context of securitisation to foster transparency and credibility in the EU sustainable securitisation market and to support its sound development. Bloomberg Commodities’ historic week sends shock waves around the world

"Commodities are wrapping up a historic week as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine roils markets, with foodstuffs soaring, metals setting records, and oil in the throes of the biggest crisis for decades. European and Asian stocks fall after fire breaks out at Ukraine nuclear plant

"European stocks were on track for a second session of losses as major cities in Ukraine endured relentless missile bombardment from Russian troops and a fire broke out at Europe's largest nuclear facility. The Stoxx 600 regional share index, which fell more than 2 per cent on Thursday and was already down 3.6% since Russian President launched a full scale invasion of its neighbour last week, fell 0.8%. Reuters Russian rouble hits new lows in volatile trading
