The Caring Hour

We kicked-off The Caring Hour at Woodlands Primary. The Grade 3 teachers at Woodlands Primary reached out to our tutors to help learners who struggle to get their homework done - particularly maths homework. Our tutors now with with each Grade 3 class for 45 minutes after school to from Tuesday to Thursday helping these learners get through their homework.

The Difference Maker

February in Cape Town is too hot for soup so we decided to make sandwiches! The sandwiches are given to our learners at the end of the school day. We made and served 20 000 sandwiches at the Mother City Kitchen factory during the month of February and distributed them across several primary schools.

An extra meal a day could be #TheDifferenceMaker

Day Care Site

After nine years, we are very excited to officially kickstart the Day Care project! We started fencing off the site and for now, it will be used by our After School program while we finalise the building plans. We are in the process of building a little play park for the kids and will run a daily feeding scheme from the site too.

Kids are back in the park and having fun!
