Take-Action Checklist: March 11, 2022

_____________________________

If somebody really was as wise as they think they are, they wouldn’t fear being proved wrong, because they know that they couldn’t be. I encourage you, that if you really think you’re right, to ask questions and not be afraid of the answers. Because if you’re right, then asking questions will only prove you right. And if you turn out to be wrong, then you will discover that you were wrong and you will become a little bit wiser by realizing that.

Here are some things you can do this week to make a difference!
Do one thing or do them all — everything you do helps!

Item 1: Participate in Detrans Awareness Day

Detransition Awareness Day is tomorrow, March 12, 2022. A group of parents and detransitioners put together a website, http://detransawareness.org. It has testimonials from some detransitioners as well as therapists on its Youtube Channel, videos on the Tik-Tok channel, and it also has a guide on how to hold an event to spotlight the detrans cause.

This group is trying to get the press to acknowledge the detrans community. They want to get photographs or videos from 50+ representative towns or cities. This could be as simple as holding a sign and snapping a picture, writing out Detrans Awareness Day on a Starbucks cup, chalking it on a sidewalk or blacktop, or even putting together a gathering. Examples can be seen on the website.

Laura Becker, a detransitioner, designed some awesome T-Shirts. https://inktothepeople.com/detrans-day-of-awareness-shirts

We need photos and videos from 50+ different cities for Detrans Awareness Day.

You can do it before March 12 anywhere. You don't have to show your face to show your support.

Please participate as we need to get the word out about this growing population. Light a candle, make a sign, show that you care about these people who might just be the key to knocking down this house of cards.

Please upload your photos or videos at https://www.detransawareness.org/contact-8.

Item 2: Idaho HB 675

Please encourage Representative Patti Anne to support Idaho HB 675.

Please tell her we need to protect the children from being retarded with puberty blockers, damaged with cross-sex hormones, and mutilated elective with surgeries.

Time is of the essence right now, so if you can please reach out soon to Representative Lodge and help us protect the children of Idaho from these horrific procedures which are being nefariously performed on children.

Item 3: Tell Swimming World to refer to Will “Lia” Thomas as “he”

The article “Asterisk Needed: Symbol Would Define Lia Thomas’ Unfair Advantage at NCAA Championships” from Swimming World is a step in the right direction, in that the author (John Lohn, editor in chief of Swimming World) recognizes that Will “Lia” Thomas has an unfair advantage over the women on the UPenn swim team. But Lohn refers to Thomas as “she” throughout the article.

Please contact Swimming World and tell them to refer to men as “he”:

"I was very disappointed to see you refer to Will ‘Lia’ Thomas as “she” in the article Asterisk Needed: Symbol Would Define Lia Thomas’ Unfair Advantage at NCAA Championships. Thomas is clearly a male, and everyone knows it. Please refer to him correctly as ‘he’; I suggest you edit this article to reflect correct pronoun use.”

Item 4: Share a Graphic on Social Media

Simply providing some counter-narrative to the transgender industry’s propaganda will help turn public opinion back to facts & reality. Grab one of these social media graphics and share it in your newsfeed.

Thank you for standing with us to fight for children! If there’s anything Advocates Protecting Children can do to help you or support your work, please don’t hesitate to contact us at advocatesprotectingchildren@gmail.com.
