Greater Grand Rapids National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) & Community Scholarships

The Greater Grand Rapids NPHC and Community are offering various Scholarship Opportunities! See fliers for details. Apply before it’s too late! Through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites throughout our community, Heart of West Michigan United Way’s Kent County Tax Credit Coalition (KCTCC) helps working individuals and families achieve economic success through free tax services. There is a limited number of in-person/virtual appointments available. They also offer MyFreeTaxes, an online software, that allows families to prepare and file their taxes for free. There is no income requirement for this service.

If you earned $58,000 or less in 2021 and you live in Kent County, you're eligible to have your taxes prepared and filed for free by Kent County Tax Credit Coalition. Call 2-1-1 to schedule your appointment today. Or, if you’re interested in preparing and filing electronically, MyFreeTaxes helps people file their federal and state taxes for free, and it’s brought to you by United Way.
