Annwyl Bawb,
Gobeithio byddwch chi’n gallu dod i ymuno â ni ar ein taith ddydd Sadwrn nesaf. Isod, mae’r manylion llawn am y daith, a'n canllawiau diogelwch.
O ystyried sefyllfa Omicron, gofynnwn i bawb gadw draw os nad ydynt wedi cael y tri brechiad neu, fel arall, brawf llif unffordd negyddol wedi’i gymryd wedi’i gymryd ychydig cyn y daith. Cofiwch fod symptomau Omicron yn gallu bod yn fwy tebyg i annwyd nag i symptomau arferol Covid-19 (sef tymheredd uchel, peswch cyson, newydd, neu golli eich synnwyr arogli neu flasu).
Cofion gorau,
Philippa

Dear All,
We hope you will be able to join us for our walk next Saturday. Below are full details of the walk, information about the programme so far, and our safety guidelines.
Given the Omicron situation, we ask that everyone stay away if they have not had all three vaccinations or, alternatively, a negative lateral flow test taken shortly before the walk. Remember that Omicron symptoms can be more like a cold than Covid-19's normal symptoms (high temperature, constant, new cough, or loss of sense of smell or taste).
Best wishes,
Philippa

Cerddwyr Cylch Teifi
Sadwrn 12fed mis Mawrth
Ardal Cwm Gwaun
Arweinydd: Judith Wainwright
Gadael Maes Parcio Sychbant am 10.30 yn brydlon. Mae’r Maes Parcio ger y troad i Ffald-y-brenin yn y cwm, SN 045 349, cod post SA65 9UA. Mae’r lle parcio wrth waelod y trac.
Y daith
Taith gylch o ychydig llai na 3 milltir ac yn ddwy awr o hyd. O’r maes parcio awn ni ar hyd yr heol dawel i gyfeiriad Pont-faen am chwarter milltir ac ar lwybrau wedyn, yn gyntaf i’r chwith (cyn Dan Coed), lan i lethr serth Coed Tregynon ac ar ymyl uchaf y goedlan i lecyn uwchben y rhaeadr. Yma mae pont newydd wedi’i hadeiladu gan Ffrindiau’r Parc Cenedlaethol, lle bydd pobl yn gallu gweld y rhaeadr (mae’r grisiau’n serth ond bydd y rhan honno’n opsiynol). Wedyn byddwn ni’n dilyn y llwybr heibio Tregynon, i lawr y cwm ac ar hyd yr afon i gyrraedd y ffordd ger Llannerch gan ddychwelyd i’r maes parcio ar hyd ffordd wledig dawel.
Mae dringfa o ryw 250 troedfedd ar y llwybr serth trwy Goed Tregynon. Mae’r llwybr yn fwdlyd mewn mannau.
Pwyntiau o ddiddordeb
Dyma daith gyntaf y Cerddwyr trwy Gwm Gwaun; cyfle am gipolwg da ar y rhaeadr, golygfeydd hardd dros Gwm Gwaun, blodau gwyllt cynnar y Gwanwyn, gwartheg Long Horn Carn Edward, ardal Gymraeg arbennig a hanesyddol sydd fel camu ’nôl mewn amser.
Nid yw trefnwyr y daith yn trefnu lle i gymdeithasu, oherwydd Covid, ond mae Tafarn Bessie yn weddol agos os bydd rhai am ddiod ar ôl cerdded (ond sylwer nad oes bwyd ar gael yno).

Cerddwyr Cylch Teifi Walkers
Saturday 12th March
Gwaun Valley area
Leader: Judith Wainwright
Depart Sychbant Car Park at 10.30 prompt. The Car Park is at the turning to Ffald-y-brenin in the valley, SN 045 349, postcode SA65 9UA. The parking place is at the bottom of the track.
The walk
A circular walk of just under 3 miles and two hours in length. From the car park we take the quiet road towards Pont-faen for a quarter of a mile and then on footpaths, first left (before Dan Coed), up to the steep slope of Coed Tregynon and at the top edge of the woodland to a spot above the waterfall. Here a new bridge has been built by the Friends of the National Park, where people will be able to see the waterfall (the steps are steep but that section will be optional). We then follow the path past Tregynon, down the valley and along the river to reach the road near Llannerch and return to the car park along a quiet country road.
The steep path through Coed Tregynon has a climb of about 250 feet. The path is muddy in places.
Points of interest
This is the first time Cerddwyr Cylch Teifi has walked through the Gwaun Valley; a chance for a good view of the waterfall, beautiful views over the Gwaun Valley, early spring wildflowers, Carn Edward Long Horn cattle, a special and historic Welsh area that feels like stepping back in time.
The organizers of the walk do not arrange a place to socialize, because of Covid, but Bessie’s Tafarn is fairly close if anyone wants a drink after walking (but note that food is not available there).

RHAGLEN 2021 - 22 (HYD YN HYN)
Bydd pob taith yn para rhyw 2 awr, gan ddechrau am 10.30yb.
Ond wrth gwrs os bydd rheolau Cymru am Covid yn newid, bydd angen inni addasu neu ganslo teithiau. Rhoddwn wybod i chi trwy e-bost. Ni fyddwn yn trefnu man i gymdeithasu ar ôl y teithiau er mwyn peidio annog pobl i gwrdd dan do, ond gallwch wneud fel y mynnwch wrth gwrs.
Bydd e-bost gyda’r manylion llawn am bob taith yn dod atoch chi wythnos cyn y daith bob tro. Ond hoffwn eich annog i ddarllen y nodiadau isod am ddiogelwch rhag Covid a diogelwch rhag damweiniau ar y teithiau cyn i chi ddod ar y teithiau.

PROGRAMME 2021 - 22 (SO FAR)
Each walk will last about 2 hours, starting at 10.30am.
But of course if the Welsh rules about Covid change, we will need to adjust or cancel trips. We’ll let you know by email. We won’t arrange a place for socializing after the walks so as not to encourage people to meet indoors, but you can do as you please of course.
An email with the full details of each walk will be sent to you a week before the walk each time. But I would encourage you to read the notes below about Covid and accident protection before you come on the walks.

IECHYD A DIOGELWCH
Cofiwch mai chi sy’n gyfrifol am eich iechyd a diogelwch eich hunain.
Diogelwch rhag Covid-19
Gofynnir i’n cerddwyr:
- gadw draw os nad ydych wedi cael y brechiadau i gyd sydd ar gael ichi, neu, fel arall, brawf llif unffordd negyddol wedi’i gymryd ychydig cyn y daith
- geisio cadw rhyw bellter cymdeithasol rhesymol oddi wrth gerddwyr sy’n perthyn i aelwydydd eraill;
- ac wrth gwrs, peidio â dod i daith os ydych chi’n:
- hunan-ynysu, neu
- dangos unrhyw symptom sy’n gysylltiedig â’r haint gan gofio fod symptomau Omicron yn gallu bod yn fwy tebyg i annwyd nag i symptomau arferol Covid-19 (sef tymheredd uchel, peswch cyson, newydd, neu golli eich synnwyr arogli neu flasu).
Diogelwch ar deithiau – rhag damweiniau
- darllenwch fanylion y daith i sicrhau eich bod yn ddigon abl i’w chyflawni heb oedi’n ormodol;
- dewch â dillad addas gan ystyried adeg y flwyddyn a rhagolygon y tywydd, yn enwedig esgidiau cymwys i dir gwlyb ac anwastad;
- cadwch gysylltiad â gweddill y criw trwy aros o flaen y trefnydd a fydd wrth gefn y rhes o gerddwyr;
- hysbyswch drefnydd os gadewch chi’r daith yn gynnar;
- cadwch gŵn ar dennyn;
- cymerwch ofal arbennig wrth groesi ffyrdd ac wrth gerdded:
- ar hyd ffyrdd heb balmant;
- ar lethrau serth;
- ar lwybrau lle mae disgyniad ar un ochr fel yn aml ar lwybrau’r arfordir

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Remember that you are responsible for your own health and safety.
Protection from Covid-19
Our walkers are asked to:
- stay away if you haven’t had all the vaccinations which are available to you or, alternatively, a negative lateral flow test taken shortly before the walk
- try to keep some reasonable social distance from walkers from other households;
- and of course, don't come to a walk if you are:
- self-isolating, or
- showing any symptom associated with the infection, bearing in mind that Omicron symptoms can be more like a cold than Covid-19's normal symptoms (high temperature, constant, new cough, or loss of sense of smell or taste).
Safety on walks - from accidents
- read the details of the walk to ensure that you are able to complete it without undue delay;
- bring suitable clothing taking into consideration the time of year and weather forecasts, especially footwear suitable for wet and uneven terrain;
- stay in touch with the rest of the group by keeping in front of the organizer who will be at the back of the line of walkers;
- inform an organizer if you leave early;
- keep dogs on a lead;
- take special care when crossing roads and when walking:
- along roads without pavements;
- on steep slopes;
- on routes where there is a descent on one side as is often the case on coastal paths
