Instructor Laurelei Creuzer will share the history and traditions of “Pysanky” (Ukrainian Easter eggs) as she guides you through the process of waxing and creating Ukrainian eggs. This is an intergenerational class, free for students aged 12-17 when accompanied by a registered adult! Don’t miss this class on Saturday, March 12. Eager to put paddle to water? Spend the time until ice-out building your own bent-shaft canoe paddle! In this 9-hour class (spread out over 3 days), you’ll learn about wood selection and grains, use of hand tools and skill saw, paddle design and considerations, and paddle sizing. By the end of the class, you will leave with a completed bent shaft paddle ready for varnishing. Only 4 spaces are available for this class, March 18-22.
