Important notice regarding our gatherings for Lent.

Good morning dearest parishioner. It has been a couple of very busy weeks since my last email to you, and most of you have noticed by now that our online devotions have not quite gone to plan - there are a couple of reasons for that, and some of the blame is on my shoulders for the user errors that crept in with my camera. Our leadership has acknowledged how important our online community is, and we endeavour to get things back on track regarding our recordings and communication to you.

Our journey to Easter 2022 will be a little different. Instead of our usual services where I do most of the talking, we will gather in smaller groups where we'll listen to stories of faithful communities. I hope that we will be able to share some stories of our own as we will pray and read scripture together, as we plan together and build up the community of believers while we share in the time of Lent.

We are all very aware of the high number of Covid-19 cases in our community. To this extent we have done our best to ensure our gatherings take place in a format and a space (outdoors) that helps manage the risk of exposure. If you feel safe joining us, you are most welcome to do so. I look forward to our time together. Please bring with you a drink and a snack for morning tea. Please bring your Bible and most creative self too.

See you tomorrow morning. We gather on the lawns at the back of our sanctuary.

Werner

ps. Have you seen our new HCPC sign that went up this week? It is looking quite flash (even if I have to say so myself).
