"Zdravo!" from North Macedonia!

Last week, a delegation of swimsa attended the 71st General Assembly of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations in Ohrid, North Macedonia. The General Assembly was held in hybrid format, which swimsa made use of by having one delegate attend online from Switzerland.

The nine delegates attended sessions focusing on various topics ranging from Public Health to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. Additionally, we got to execute our rights as members of the federation by voting on new partnerships or policy proposals. This was rounded up by a livid social programme of immersing ourselves into the North Macedonian culture, learning more about other countries and their medical curricula.

Did our adventures spark your interest? There are several international events every year. Follow us on Instagram to receive information about the next one or contact our Vice-President for Global Affairs at vpg@swimsa.ch.

Sponsor d’or - FMH
