Society of Toxciology Meeting 

We look forward to attending the Society of Toxicology (SOT) 61st Annual Meeting in person this year. View our planned activities for the meeting, which include co-chaired sessions, poster presentations, and mentorship events. In addition, we are pleased to make the following announcements:
  • Dr Amy Clippinger, president of PETA Science Consortium International e.V., will receive the 2022 SOT Enhancement of Animal Welfare Award in recognition of her achievements in advancing non-animal approaches to toxicology testing.
  • London Harper, an undergraduate student at North Carolina Central University, has won the Science Consortium’s travel award to attend SOT.  
  • Papers co-authored by the Science Consortium on human-relevant approaches to assessing carcinogenicity and eye irritation have received Best Paper awards from SOT specialty sections.
We hope to see you there!

Read about our donation of a laser-light beam opacitometer to the Institute for In Vitro Sciences Inc, which will advance methods that do not use live rabbits for eye irritation testing.
