Some Ray of Hope After 30 Years Of Poor HealthCare In Nsit Atai, Uyo

Everyone deserves access to quality services, Now imagine lacking access to quality healthcare which should be top of the chain for over 30 years? This is the story of the residents of Nsit Atai, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The project awarded in 1992 for the construction of a General Hospital in the community has since been abandoned and the community members have over the years made conscious efforts such as writing to various stakeholders but this did not yield any result until we commenced our advocacy for the completion of the project alongside community members and other stakeholders.

This project has currently been included in the 2022 Akwa Ibom State Budget and has been budgeted for N100m. We will continue to closely monitor the implementation of the project as well as engage all stakeholders involved in the project to ensure that this victory results in a quality healthcare service that the people of Nsit Atai can enjoy.

New Project Fix for Buzunkuru Community in Kuje

In a country where we have an outrageous amount of failed projects, the Buzunkure community was not left out. They suffered from a lack of a good source of water supply amongst other needs.

The community located in Kuje area council area of FCT was one of the six area councils our team visited in December last year. We identified their needs and commenced strategic advocacies with all the stakeholders involved.

These advocacies have yielded desired results as a borehole was installed in February and the community were excited about this.
