Here we go - another bumper month of incredible foodie events and classes both online and in-person. Want to learn how to make traditional Korean kimchi? We've got you. Ever fancied rustling up Mexican-inspired brunch? Look no further. See below for our full list of upcoming events and classes.

Why is the MIH cooking programme so awesome? We're glad you asked.

  • We offer something for all budgets so everyone can learn how to cook food that’s good for people and planet. 
  • All proceeds from our paying classes help fund our free community cookery classes and meal service providing nutritious, tasty meals to households who are struggling to access food.
  • Our in-person classes take place in our beautiful new kitchen with views across the common. You'll have your own work space and equipment.
  • Our Zoom classes are easy to access and you can also book recorded classes to cook-along at your leisure.

Celeb Chef Cook-Along Alert! Join Anna Jones as she shows us how to give our favourite veggies a fresh new look. You’ll make pan-roasted cauliflower with saffron butter, roast rainbow carrots, salsa rustica and oat yoghurt flatbreads. We’re drooling already!  

"Having grown up in Gwangju, a city famous for food even amongst Koreans, I will share my inherited knowledge and show you how to make exciting Korean dishes" inc. kimchi and vegan dashi broth. Join Rebecca Ghim, South Korean chef and fermentation buff on this culinary journey.

Sareta Puri, one our much loved MIH plant based chefs will be teaching you how to make some of India's most popular and famous street food dishesChana Chaat, Pani Puri, Tandoori Cauli and Street Corn. Immerse yourself in a world of Indian spices and flavours with us.

Our very own Chef Mark Breen will show you the techniques to make handmade pasta and sauces (fancy pants) using plant-based ingredients. You’ll also learn how to make tasty Sicilian caponatacreamy panna cotta and sensational lemon and rosemary biscottiPasta la vista baby...

Join the talented Betty Vandy to cook a nourishing African fusion plant-based feast. We're not salivating... you are!

If we hadn't already spoilt you enough with Korean cooking delights - this online cookery lesson sees South Korean chef and fermentation expert Rebecca Ghim walks you through her favourite dishes: glass noodle japchae and braised tofu dubu-jorim. Tingling tastebuds - let's go!
