We pray for...

Let's continue to pray for an end to the conflict in Ukraine and for all those suffering as a result.

Stephen Yoder requests continued prayer for his sister-in-law Michelle Yoder as she recovers from brain damage resulting from a car accident. Michelle has made significant progress, but continues to struggle with hand eye coordination, and tasks such as reading and writing.

Sharon Dufour requests prayer for her mother, Dianne, who has a stomach bug. We can also pray that Sharon's father does not catch the bug.

Beth Graybill requests prayer for Matt who had appendicitis. His surgery went well and he's recovering.

Celebrate...

Joel and Lindsay Diener and excited to announce that they are expecting a baby girl early this fall. They request prayers for health for Lindsay and the unborn baby, and also for the rest of the family as they prepare to welcome the new baby.
If you have any prayer requests you would like shared in the pastoral prayer time of this Sunday's worship service, please send them to Joel Diener or Kelsey Luke.

Jubilee's free store is not accepting donations at this time. We have been blessed with an abundance of items. We will make requests for donations as needed moving forward.

Calling all Women: You do not want to miss this Women's Retreat! Book it on your calendar now!  It all starts on Friday night, April 1 with a
PARTY IN PERSIA (AKA Tall Pines at PLFC) along with the beautiful Queen Esther.  Bring your friends, and pack your pajamas. See flyer for details. If you want to book a room, contact Rhoda Yoder at rhodayoder@yahoo.com by March 21. If you would like to attend Friday evening or Saturday and not need lodging, you can let Fern Diener (601-479-0476) know by March 21.

Jubilee launches its first pastoral search process in over 25 years! This past Thursday evening, Pastoral Search Committee gathered to begin its work to discern future pastoral leadership for Jubilee. Melody Clymer, Jeff Landis, Suzanne Opel and Lisa Shelly along with Del Glick, serving as resource person, gathered to lay the groundwork for this important process. Lisa was affirmed as chair and Suzanne as secretary. Their next meeting is Monday evening, March 14. Your prayers and support for them will be greatly appreciated.

In response to questions and concerns shared with Jubilee leadership, the Elders and the Transitional Team invited everyone jr. youth age (5th grade) and up, who considers Jubilee their home congregation, to complete a brief survey at the conclusion of the worship service on March 6. The survey is anonymous and is intended to gather information on personal beliefs within Jubilee regarding women in pastoral leadership and LGBTQ. The data will be compiled for reflection and discussion with hopes of discerning how we can best respond individually and congregationally as we move forward together. If you were unable to attend the service on March 6 and you would like to fill out a survey, please contact Joel or Kelsey this week. The deadline to turn in surveys is Sunday, March 13.

MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) will be responding to the crisis in Ukraine through its local partners. Russian military forces have invaded the country with missiles striking major cities and casualties continuing to grow. Your prayers and donations will help partners scale up their work providing relief and trauma healing for vulnerable and displaced people. You can donate today at mcc.org/Ukraine.
