Fredagsfika / Friday Fika
On the 11th of March, it is finally time for the first Friday Fika of the semester! The theme is the LARS cup and there will be people there to answer all of your questions about the cup. The fika takes place at Teddys (the LCR café) right after the riding lesson (16:00) and everybody's welcome! This is a good time for both new and old members to get to know the new board and meet fellow members. Attend the Facebook event to help us know how much fika to get. Hope to see you there!
Pub + Night Out
We're hosting an after ride at Hallands Nation and you do not want to miss this! When? 1 April from 19 to closing time (19:00-23:00 for the pub). Where? Hallands Nation, Thomanders väg 1, 224 65 Lund. What? Yummy pizzas and pitchers of different kinds! (of course including alcohol-free options). Free entry to Hallands Tomorrowlund club is included in the price!
LARS Cup Show Jumping
It is almost time! Dust of your riding helmet and look forward to flying over the fences. Saturday the 26th of March it is time for the most eventful competition of the spring! The LARS Cup is one of our most appreciated events; a day full of fun! The fences start at 60-70 cm in the first round and ends up at 100-110 for the final round. The sign up opens on the 9th of March at 20:00 via this link. We will be at the first Friday Fika of the semester the 11th of March at 16:00 answering questions about the cup.
LARS/LAOS Ball
One of the highlights of the semester, LARS/LAOS Ball, will take place on the 23d of April. More information will follow soon <3
Membership Fees
We would also like to remind everyone to pay their membership fees to LARS (and LCR if you attend the riding lessons). The membership fees to LCR must be paid before week ten via Hippocrates. Contact LCR if there are any issues with the payment.
Alumni Pub 10th of March
It is time for LARS alumni monthly After Ride at John Scott's in Lund. Meet new and former LARSare in a relaxed environment. Send us an email if you are interested and we will add you to the alumni Facebook group to see all the info.
Be Active In LARS
We hope that you have not missed that LARS now has its own Facebook group? In LARSare you can write your questions to the board and have quick access to any information from us. It is also a great platform for putting out information that you would like to share with other members of LARS or to show your interest when a free spot opens up in a riding lesson. If you haven’t joined already, do so now: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1777465642412129 You can also become an adjunct if you’d like further insight into the work within the board. As an adjunct, you get information about upcoming board meetings and even sit in and offer your opinion directly. It’s a great gateway for those who think that they might want to be part of the board someday. If you are interested, email the chairwoman at ordf@lundsstudentryttare.se and you will be added to the list, it’s entirely up to you which or how many meetings you want to take part in.
