Happy International Women’s Day!!

Today is a day to celebrate women – and their accomplishments -- all over the world!  And we certainly had some amazing women on our special International Women’s Day webinar this past Sunday.

A big thank you to our speakers, Ginette Azcona (UN Women), Dr. Geeta Mehta (Asia Initiatives), and Aubryn Sidle (AMPLIFY Girls), and to Joy Zimmerman – who shared the brand-new music video for her song, Women Who Walked On Water. This song is so appropriate for International Women’s Day that we are sharing it here so you can make it part of your celebration. (Remember that Joy is donating 50% of the proceeds from each digital download of her album to Together Women Rise. Purchase it HERE.)
We want to thank everyone who joined us on Sunday. For those of you who were unable to attend, the recording is now available for viewing at your convenience.

Despite the dire picture that our speakers shared about the impact of COVID-19 on women and girls, there is reason for hope thanks to organizations like Asia Initiatives, AMPLIFY Girls, and all the other community-based organizations that Together Women Rise supports each month.

Please visit our website at togetherwomenrise.org to make a donation, see our upcoming events, learn more about the work we are doing together with our grantees, and find out how to get involved in our community.
