When I was going for my walk earlier today, I was thinking more about "International Women's Day" and how we (as woman) so often forget what we've achieved. (Hence my list above 😉! )
On instagram, I had posted a picture of myself, in a pose - to help #breakthebias felt by so many women around the world for so many different reasons. (You can check that out here: @curlicuenz)
However it also made me think about the ideals we are sold as young women, and the differences between that and reality.
When we are younger, we are told that we can "have it all!"
But what does that really mean?
I think 'having it all' actually means "doing it all" - and unfortunately those are two very different things... 🤔
All too often, it seems to lead to a life of feeling stressed, being 'busy' all the time (and for some bizarre reason; competing with other women about how 'busy' you are?! - WTF?) and 'getting everything done'.
It makes you feel like a hamster on a wheel.
It's never-ending.
Although I do think gender equality has come a long way, I still believe there is a long way to go (sadly).
I'd love to hear what you think about it all though?
There's no blog post this month, due to being sick for a week (though not covid - yet), my website crashing and the general craziness of life at the moment.
I may end up being a little more sporadic with the posts this year - but you'll be the first to know about it when one is done. 😊
However - I have finally managed to upload the Customised bag charms/ key rings - for both adults and kids - to the website. It was an oversight that I discovered last year, they'd never been added....
They are not the only things.... one day, it will all get done!! 🤣

It's 'still' nearly done! I'm still waiting on some drawers - who knows when they'll arrive!
But I've managed to put up some pictures, and I'm pretty happy with how it's all looking and feeling - awesome! 😁
It was a crazy week last week - unfortunately my website broke! 😫 It took a few days with some overseas help, but it's pretty much back to normal now (yay!) Please let me know if you notice anything unusual though?
