March 2022 COVID Update

Hope you are all staying as healthy & happy as you can amidst what is starting to feel like a never-ending health crisis.

As we are well into the third year of dealing with covid there is a feeling of weariness. It is certainly easy to slip into feelings of negativity & frustration as our lives have been restricted & impacted in ways that have made life feel uncomfortable for quite some time now.

The saying "If you can’t control what’s happening around you - just focus on the things in your life you can" is probably the best way to approach this constantly changing landscape.

Establish healthy daily routines to give your day a positive framework. This helps to keep you balanced & grounded amongst the constant external uncertainty.

Our yoga & meditation practices are also a huge support & keeping them a regular feature brings huge benefits to the mind & body.

AYURVEDA STUDIO UPDATE

The Ayurvedic Studio has extended its temporary closure because Leah has broken her arm. Leah intends to gradually ease back to work with Acupuncture & Ayurvedic consultations after Easter.

It’s imperative for our body’s defence system to have a strong digestive fire (Agni). Ayurveda offers simple digestive aids to promote a balanced digestion to strengthen your immunity. Yogaveda stocks a range of organic antiviral herbs such as Licorice, Ginger, Premium Turmeric, Tulsi, Ashwagandha, Astragalus, Amalaki, Guduchi etc. to prepare for the winter months ahead.

Antivirals work by interfering with the virus at different stages of its lifestyle. By blocking virus attachment and inhibiting viral replication you can prevent the debilitating effects of colds, flus and respiratory infections. A preventative approach to health is vital in today’s world to become more resistant to disease.
