Our chapter, in conjunction with Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary, will hold their Spring Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 14 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Online sales will be available beginning Monday, May 2, until Noon on Tuesday, May 10. Online order need to be picked up on Friday, May 13 at Owl's Hill. More details coming.
We will need lots of volunteers to help Wednesday through Saturday, May 11 - 14, to help make this sale successful. Signup links will be in the next newsletter.

The Ohio State University Entomology Department has started a Bumblebee Short Course for Community Scientists spanning six consecutive Fridays. Registration for the short course can be found here and a link to the first class recording can be found here.

Owls Hill Nature Sanctuary
|
|
|
Owl's Hill has received a generous grant from the Garden Club of Nashville to replant it's woodland shade garden. They have almost 100 plants to install. On Thursday, March 31, they will be two volunteer shifts: 9:30 am - 12 pm, and 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. If you are able to volunteer for either of these shifts, please email Laura Smith for further information.
Owl's Hill is also having Wildflower Hikes each Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM and lasting approximately until Noon. Registration is at their website.

Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage

There is still time to register for the 72nd Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park April 26 - 30. It features 194 expert-led programs on a huge variety of topics and has been a true bucket list event for many decades.
