Each new art process will be revealed as part of the story interwoven with the geological formation of a volcanic landscape. Searching for interesting things to draw will help students think about the plants in their own local places and better connect with the natural world around them. Knowing more about what flora grows around their own backyard shows how science, botany and the outdoors can overlap into art.
Each student will come away with their own nature journal booklet.

We can deliver individual masterclasses, a series of sessions over the term, or once-a-month all year long. Our professional development programme is diverse and multi-dimensional, and will offer teachers the opportunity to explore and experiment with techniques, materials and a broad range of outcomes.
