WE WILL NEVER FORGET - March 24, 1999
On this solemn day we remember what the majority of the Western world would rather forget; the biggest war of aggression since World War II, the barbaric killing of civilians, the US spearheaded NATO military intervention against a sovereign nation that posed no threat to any of its members.
As poetic justice or divine intervention would have it, the major architect of this unjust aggression, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright died yesterday, on the eve of the war she so desperately pushed for, as it came to be known as Madeline's war.

Military forces from 19 Western countries took part in Operation Allied Force. The bombing, which lasted 78 days, was carried out without the approval of the UN Security Council or the US Congress.
During the 11-week aggression against Yugoslavia/Serbia & Montenegro, 1,150 NATO fighter jets fired nearly 420,000 missiles to the total weight of 22,000 tons, 1,300 cruise missiles, 37,000 cluster bombs, used depleted uranium ammunition and killed 2,500 civilians/78 children. In addition to the casualties, military facilities and infrastructure such as railways, bridges, factories, schools, hospitals and civilian radio and television transmitters were severely damaged while the Avala Tower in Belgrade was destroyed on April 29. An estimate of the material damage caused to the destroyed and damaged structures and infrastructure has never been officially calculated but ranges from several dozen to up to 100 billion US dollars.
As we watch the completely avoidable military operation in Ukraine, we are reminded of our own horrors, and all those who participated in peddling lies and propaganda against the Serbian people. Bill Clinton needed a war to cover up his Monica Lewinsky tracks, and Madeline Albright, Sandy Berger, Joe Biden, John McCain, Wesley Clark, and a myriad of other shady characters from all spheres of establishment came to "wag the dog". Some of the same characters are around even today, peddling another set of propaganda on CNN with Christiane Amanpour at helm, framing popular public opinion and manufacturing consent for a new cause-de-jour. Afterall, the named swamp creatures have built their legacies and fortunes on demonizing the Serbian people, and they continue on the bloody path against the interests and wellbeing of all Americans, with no consequences, at least not in this present realm....
There is a saying, all niceties should be said of the dead, but some truly deserve none. Madeline Albright certainly is such a case, particularly because as a young Jewish girl, her family was protected by the Serbs from Nazi persecution.

As Christians we are thought to forgive, to turn the other cheek, and not cheer and wish for death, and so we adhere to that. But as mere mortals we experience deep pain, injustice, fear, dishonor.... we crave justice by accepting the concept of Heaven and Hell. Albright once said: "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women!" That may very well be true, but imagine what circle of Dante's Inferno is reserved for those who justify killing 500,000 Iraqi children, or 78 Serbian children, or anyone for that matter?!
Well, Madeline Albright is certainly about to find out!
