When you are in Armenia, visit Mer Hooys!

We are a very welcoming family, so when we have guests we feel extremely happy.
In March 2022, Mer Hooys girls and staff enjoyed a visit by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of North America.

Hovnan Srpazan has visited the Center many times, and the girls and staff remember his visits, and enjoy his blessings, for a long time after.

Hovnan Srpazan spoke to the girls about the Center, its goals and values. Srpazan talked about important values in life, to remind the girls of the reason they are at Mer Hooys- to gain an education and the skills to living an independent life.

Mer Hooys already has many grandchildren. This is our chubby Hovel - our graduate Lilit's son. Hovel's father is clergyman.

Hovnan Srpazan's visit was very special to our girls and staff! After every visit by a guest, our girls feel motivated and refreshed with new emotions.
We welcome visitors to the Center when they are in Armenia, to see the wonderful program Mer Hooys offers to shape the future lives of its residents, and to experience the joy our girls bring to everyone who meets them!
