Over the last few years, we have witnessed some terrible atrocities across the world and Ireland as a nation responds in a positive and welcoming manner.
The Ukrainian conflict is unfolding on our TV screens in all its horror and we as a club have to respond and open our doors to all refugee children displaced from their homeplaces around the world.
Over the coming week, we are putting a process in place to welcome all refugee children living in our community to join our club and become part of our family.
We as a club and a community will ensure they have all they need to take part and be part of our games without having to worry about an additional cost.
We will have people in place in all age groups that will be a support for these kids, particularly in the initial weeks.
We will be reaching out to the schools in the area to pass on our invitation to all these children and that there is a Ceád Míle Failte in Cuala for everyone.
Please look out for details coming from the club and schools outlining this Fáilte Initiative.
If you are a host family or know of host families please invite them to be part of the Cuala family.
If you want more information in advance of the launch or have children that would benefit from this initiative please contact Michael Jackson.michael.jackson@fujitsu.com
