The delivery of this program is supported by the State and Federal Governments.

RevenYou - Sales & Marketing training series for Accommodators
 

! COMMENCES MONDAY 4th APRIL !
Tamie Matthews from RevenYou will deliver 4 x 4-hour sessions that will ensure that the foundations of your accommodation business are strong and you have a solid understanding of all the elements.


You will upskill your knowledge, understanding & skills in:

Genevieve Matthews – Tourism Leadership Development Program


We will be running a 6-month Tourism Leadership Development Program starting in May.

The program has been designed specifically to help local tourism business owners and leaders navigate well-being, people leadership and business recovery challenges in the year ahead.

Program facilitator Genevieve Matthews has worked in the industry for 30+ years and is an experienced tourism leadership mentor specialising in business growth and people leadership.

Join a one-hour information session with Genevieve for business owners and leaders interested in joining the program on Wednesday 30 April at 10am.
This program requires a minimum of 8 businesses, and we have places for up to 24

Ecotourism Australia - supported membership

Destination Phillip Island is offering support and financial assistance for businesses wanting to become ECO Certified with Ecotourism Australia.

ECO Certification is for tourism products such as tours, accommodation and attractions with a primary focus on nature.

The ECO Certification program is a world first and it has been developed to address the need to identify genuine nature and ecotourism operators.

DPI can also support an external consultant to assist you with the ECO Certification process.

Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) 
- supported Quality Tourism Framework (QTF)



Destination Phillip Island is offering support and financial assistance for businesses wanting to join the Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) .

The Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) is run by VTIC and provides businesses with the necessary online tools and resources to ensure best practice management, customer confidence and ongoing sustainability.

The QTF incorporates three of Australia’s well-respected industry programs:

·        Star Ratings

·        Australian Tourism Awards, including the Victorian Tourism Awards

A highly skilled tourism marketing professional and experienced business mentor, Isabelle Fennessy will deliver a 2-part Building Resilience & Wellbeing for business owners workshop and individual business mentoring sessions.
