From the Principal
He mihi maioha, Faa-talofa atu, Greetings,
Marian College is now 40 years old, and we celebrated this milestone on Friday 25 March. Sr Eleanor Capper and Mrs Kathy Seaward joined us to cut a cake and share some of their memories. They were joined by first day pupil Philippa Stevenson (Grocott) and Carmel Gregan-Ford from our Board of Trustees. I have realised that I have now been at Marian for over half of the time the school has been in existence. This certainly gave me pause for thought, but I know how fortunate I am to be part of Marian College.
There is always time for cake so staff and students enjoyed a treat and you can see from the photos in this newsletter that it was a lovely day. I particularly enjoyed the impromptu dancing at lunchtime! We are well into the construction of the new school with an exciting future ahead, so we feel very blessed.
With faith in our future,
Mary-Lou Davidson (Mrs)
Principal
