Join us tomorrow March 22 at 1 PM, as we mark our 30th anniversary and move beyond COVID-19, we want to explore Resilience through Connection and highlight how individuals and communities remain resilient despite challenges. To kick off the year, Community Links is pleased to host Dr. Keri-Leigh Cassidy, founder of the Fountain of Health, for a one-hour webinar entitled Staying Connected for Optimal Aging.
 

The Fountain of Health is a national non-profit association helping people to learn about the science of well-being and apply it their own lives.  

This free webinar will help people midlife and older learn how to optimize aging and will offer ways to reduce the stress and isolation of the pandemic.  

Learn how to use key Fountain of Health resources including the Wellness App which offers virtual support to help you track your goal.

Dr. Keri-Leigh Cassidy is a Professor of Psychiatry and Clinical Academic Director of Dalhousie’s Geriatric Psychiatry Program at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. She is a national leader in positivism in healthcare and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy expert. She is the founder of the Fountain of Health, a national non-profit association supporting behaviour change to promote brain health and resilience (www.fountainofhealth.ca).  
 
Dr. Cassidy is the recipient of several national awards including the 2016 CAGP’s Outstanding Contributions in Geriatric Psychiatry Award, 2018 CIHR Betty Havens Prize for Knowledge Translation in Aging, and 2019 Canadian Psychiatric Association’s for Creative Professional Activity
