Depave Paradise Forum to help communities set up green infrastructure projects

Green Communities Canada is excited to invite you to Breaking Ground: Collaborative Community Greening, our FREE half-day forum to be held on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022. The event will celebrate the wide-reaching impacts of Depave Paradise projects across Canada, and explore the many ways in which local non-profit organizations, municipalities, and businesses can use green infrastructure to transform their communities.  

The forum will feature presentations, panel discussions, and workshops by industry experts. You will get the opportunity to hear from Green Venture, the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre (MUEC), Peterborough GreenUp, Environment Network, and Oakville Green about a variety of topics, including but not limited to:  

• Green Infrastructure and Place-Making 

• Community Support for the Depave Paradise Program 

• Long-term Depave Paradise Site Maintenance
