Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:

Happy Spring! Many years ago Evangelist John R Rice wrote a song that included these words;  “Let the sun shine again, let the flowers bloom again, stir the embers of love in my heart! Holy Spirit, reprove, then embrace me again; Let the sun shine again in my heart” We have had some great meetings in recent weeks where we saw the SON shining again in many hearts. Isn’t that what revival is all about - renewed joy, renewed love, and renewed victory? Thank you so much for praying for us as we continue to preach the good news that Jesus still saves and that He still revives.

We have been to 11 different states so far this year and are currently in Michigan at Rochester Hills Baptist Church. I was still a single man when I first came to Rochester Hills and have been preaching here for almost 30 years.  It is a special blessing to serve in churches where we have some incredible friends. It is one of the perks of our ministry! Plus it was a great day with incredibly good crowds and an even better response to the truths of God’s Word.

Here is our schedule for the coming weeks:

March 25-26 Bethlie is speaking at the Friend2Friend Ladies Conference, Newnan GA

March 27-29 Sauk Trail Baptist, Richton Park IL - Family Revival

March 31-Apr 2 Southland Christian Camp Couple’s Retreat 1 - Ringgold LA

Apr 3-5 Kingsway Baptist, Ringgold LA -  Family Conference

Apr 7-9 Southland Christian Camp Couple’s Retreat 2 - Ringgold LA

Apr 10-13 Central Baptist , Ponca City OK, Revival Services

Please pray for us! Pray for the meetings listed above. Fuel prices are astonishing, so pray about that.  Christians certainly need revival and we long to see souls saved.  Remember to pray about that.   Many of you are also aware of the physical struggles of our son Matthew. He is now a youth pastor in Odenville AL and has battled some unusual health issues since November last year.  Many, many tests have been run but he still has no diagnoses of what is causing the issues.  He continues to lose weight and is battling fatigue, nausea, jaundice, and other symptoms.  Please pray with us for him. Please pray for his wife Cherith (this is very hard on her too).  We are praying for his healing and for God to be glorified through this trial.

Before I go, let me share with you a praise. Several years ago Pastor Chuck Madaus (Bible Baptist of Stonewood WV) and I witnessed for quite some time to a young man named Ronnie. He actually came to our services but did not trust Christ and was pretty cold to the gospel.  Over the last few years he has made quite a mess of his life here and there, but a few days ago reconnected with Pastor and this weekend trusted Christ to be his Savior! Isn’t that awesome? It encouraged me to know that the gospel is not in vain.  Let’s all give the gospel to someone this week. Who knows how God might use it!

Thanks for being our friends and for praying for us. You are a blessing!

Send me an email (dnbyoung@aol.com) or a text  (740-973-3549) if I can pray for you this week. I would be glad to do so.

Your sincere friends,

Dave and Bethlie Young
