Why: Every year every society must elect a committee to lead it through the next year, the required positions are President, Treasurer and Secretary; without these positions filled the society will not be allowed to continue as an official student society
What: Each year every society must hold an Annual General Election to elect its new committee members.
When: This Thursday, March 24th 2022 at 7pm our AGM opens the election, our Election Returning officer is outgoing Secretary Ryn Johnson, the results will be emailed out the following Thursday.
Where: Via Microsoft Teams (check the StirPod Team in Microsoft Teams, and your emails for the meeting invite)
How: Society Members have already been registered on the election system (Election runner) - and this will automatically email you your online ballot on Thursday at 7pm. You will need to vote for the candidate of your choice either as a single vote or by moving them up/down. Currently as this is an ‘uncontested’ election, your choice will be between one candidate and R.O.N (Re-Open Nominations). You will be able to vote from your mobile phone, laptop, tablet or desktop computer; as long as you have internet access!
