ACGR National Meeting - Registrations Open


Registrations are open for the first national meeting for 2022 which will be held on April 7 and 8. The meeting program continues to evolve with a diverse range of new speakers and sessions now confirmed. 

This online meeting of graduate research leaders across Australian and New Zealand will be practical, stimulating and forward thinking. As well as sharing important operational practices and strategies amongst members, we will also take the opportunity to engage with national and international experts and, importantly, network and share your experience amongst your colleagues.

The program will commence at 11am AEST on 7 April and conclude by 2.45pm AEST on 8 April, please see below for full detail.

Day 1: Thursday 7 April
Session 1: Post COVID – the new reality

Session 2: Implementing Good Practice

Registrations
Registrations are free for primary representatives of each full member organisation and just $100 + GST (if applicable) for additional delegates and all associate members.

Members are reminded that there is a limit of three places are available for each full member institution and two for affiliate and associate members.

Final call for nominations for the 2022 ACGR Awards for Excellence in Graduate Research Education


Nominations for the ACGR Excellence in Graduate Research Education Awards close on 1 April 2022. All universities are encouraged to run their own award programs so that they can acknowledge the champions in their universities who can then also be nominated for the national awards.

The following awards will be presented at a specially convened virtual seminar in April/May:
  • ACGR Award for Excellence in Graduate Research Supervision Sponsored by ResearchMaster (individual or team nominations)
  • ACGR Award for Excellence in Graduate Research Leadership (individual nominations only)
  • ACGR Award for Excellence in Promoting Industry Engagement in Graduate Research (individual or team nominations)
Nominations forms and details of the selection criteria are available on the ACGR website. ACGR will fund the production of short videos of each award winner that can be used to showcase the excellence of graduate research education across the nation and in the winner’s universities.

Nominations close at 5 pm AEDT on Friday April 1.
