Femto Engineering 25 years

On April 1st Femto Engineering will celebrate its 25th anniversary. In the previous newsletter, we shared our very first newsletter from 1998, in which we covered our St. Jansbrug project. Simcenter Femap Entity Locator

Simcenter Femap contains a lot of useful tools. Do you already use the Entity Locator tool to check your model quality? If you are unfamiliar; this tool locates irregular and useless elements in your model. Give the tool a try if you want to save time on manually checking your (larger) models. We demonstrate how to use the Entity Locator in Simcenter Femap through below video link.

Design MARCH VII

What we like about Project MARCH is the social relevance and impact of their work. They try to solve a real-life mobility/disability issue with engineering. In their mission to create an innovative exoskeleton we are happy to help the frame team with structural support.

Earlier this month Project MARCH revealed the new exoskeleton design: the MARCH VII. We watched the video and got excited by all the improvements and innovative technical applications. In the upcoming months, the team will assemble the exoskeleton and train the operator. We wish the team best of luck with the next phase! Watch the design reveal below.
