What you need to know

As we have done our best to do from the start, we will continue to follow the requirements of Peterborough Public Health as we at Northview are committed to growing the kingdom of Jesus.

With the removal of mask mandates and the previous removal of requirements to social distance, we will no longer be requiring anyone to wear masks for Northview Community Church programs and events.
This means that parents/guardians and their students, and leaders will be able to choose whether or not to wear a mask.

Whatever you choose is best for you and your student(s), we support your decision! Furthermore, we ask that you respect other people's choices. Whatever our agreements or disagreements may be, may we all be united in the love God provided through Jesus.

We're heading to Pursue East Student Conference in May!

PURSUE Student Conference is a new event for Jr. & Sr. High students that exists to serve and create momentum for student ministries across Eastern Ontario by creating an opportunity for students to have a life changing experience with God.

Voltage will be participating with a limited registration of only 15 students.

There is financial assistance to ensure students can come! Please contact Pastor David BEFORE the early bird deadline of April 18th should your student require financial assistance for this event.

When: May 20-21. Meet at Northview for 1pm sharp! Return ETA 11:30pm May 21

Where - Overnight: Phil and Cindy Black's (P. David's Parents). Inquire for location.
Why: To connect students with God's Kingdom.(And because this will be a blast!)

Our next 5 week series (with good Friday breaking it up) will put reason to what some might see as madness. Together, we're going to engage in why anyone would or should believe in Jesus and God.

This isn't just about believing some random book because someone tells you to. We want to ground faith in facts and lifechanging truth.

Students are encouraged to bring their toughest questions which we'll tackled together over the 5 weeks.

Every now and again, I get access to some amazing parent resources that I think are so good, I can't help but share them. I'm not saying you need them, because you are doing an amazing job (seriously!), but sometimes it's good to get that extra tip or resource. We're all better when we keep learning, and I want this to be an encouragement to you to keep being an amazing role model, mentor and parent to your student(s).
