Walk for Water

Join us this Saturday (March 26) for Water Mission's annual Walk for Water!   We'll gather at Riverfront Park (1061 Everglades Ave, N. Charleston) at 9am for the opening ceremony before experiencing the three mile walk, finishing no later than noon.  This event will give us a better understanding of the distance people around the world walk each day for water.  Proceeds will enable Water Mission to provide clean drinking water to communities in need and share the Living Water message of Jesus Christ.  This event is open to your family and friends as well as other members of First (Scots), so feel free to invite parents, siblings, and friends to join in this effort.  The registration fee is $25 for adults (ages 18+) and $10 for youth (ages 2-17).  Join the First (Scots) Presbyterian Church Team today!

It Sure Was Sweet!

Earlier this month the youth hosted an ice cream social for the congregation.  From the ice cream sundae bar to bingo, we sure had a great time.  And unlike TCBY, we didn’t weigh any bowls at the end of the topping buffet!  O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him (Psalm 34:8).  Check out photos from the event.

Meals Delivered

Last Sunday we shared God's love with church and community members.  Th high school and middle school youth, along with our New Orleans and Asheville Mission Teams and confirmation class, divided up into nine teams and delivered twenty one hot meals prepared by our own Chef Nancy.
