Live events,
here we go! 🚀

It has been a while, but we are finally back on your mailbox and full of news to share!

We are closer and closer of getting to a list of final challenges for Hack Blue Transition, our event focused on the blue economy in June, but we need a little help from you. Read below to find out how you can pitch in.

And if you haven't heard the news, the content for Hack Healthcare is ready! We have prepared a list of all challenges and partners that are coming for this edition.

Ready to hack Healthcare and and Blue Transition before summer begins?
Cause we are!

Your voice matters: help us shape the challenges of Hack Blue Transition

Sustainability transition of the Blue Economy is much slower than it could be. New technologies and new business models offer new possibilities, and Hack Blue Transition is here to help accelerate this change. We have identified the specific areas where change can start, but now we need your help with choosing and refining the challenges for the event. We are inviting different stakeholders with a shared interest in the blue economy to have a say on the challenges at our Ecosystem Workshops, running from 25 to 28 April.

All opinions are welcomed, and we know you have plenty to say 😄 But if you are still hesitant on whether this is for you, maybe this Q&A will help you to decide:

🔹Who should come to the Ecosystem Workshops?
Anyone interested in the blue transition, from researchers and governments to tech startups and maritime companies.

🔹What happens during an Ecosystem Workshop?
In this highly interactive online workshops, you'll dig into a challenge of your choice together with experts and fellow participants. You'll share your experience, learn from others and, of course, network your pants off. And, if you haven't worked with Miro yet, you'll get the first feel for this excellent tool.

We have divided the workshops between key themes per day, but you can expect us to discuss remote monitoring of marine assets, autonomous operations and vessels, decarbonisation of ports & logistics, circularity in offshore energy, solving the synchromodal paradox and much more. If you have a specific interest in mind, just pick your favourite themes or your favourite day:

- 25 April: Operations Transition
- 26 April: Energy Transition
- 27 April: Ports Transition
- 28 April: Logistics Transition

The sessions are free, online and they run from 9h30 to 12h. If you want to discover more about the themes and challenges we have so far, the full list of on Hack Blue Transition's webpage.

🔹What do you get from attending the Ecosystem Workshop?
- The possibility of co-creating the event around the challenges that matter to you ⛴
- A chance to network with stakeholders with shared interests 🤝
- A sneak peek of who’s coming and what we will be tackling at the event 👀

MCA, The Beacon, Blauwe Cluster, Bluebridge, Plug and Play Maritime and Flux 50 are our Knowledge Partners on the event, so don’t think twice: to secure your seat fill in the form here or send an email to the event manager Julia at julia@hackbelgium.be.

To finish with some great news, we are happy to announce that the venue for the event will be right in the heart of Belgium's blue transition, in Antwerp, at MCA’s office, so we can't wait for 14 and 15 June!

(If you are a mad planner like we are, you can already write down the location on your calendar!)

Hack Healthcare is just around the corner, and now, more ready than ever.

After putting into practice the things we love (innovation and collaboration, in case that’s not clear yet :D) throughout six months, by discussing healthcare issues with different stakeholders across the ecosystem - and after a series of of Ecosystem Workshops to refine what came from these conversations -, our challenges for Hack Healthcare are finally… well, final! 🎊

We had very insightful talks and just by the feeling of it, we have a great Hack Healthcare ahead of us. In this edition of Hack Healthcare, we will be tackling four main themes and 11 challenges across two days of live event.

If you haven’t seen them on our social media yet (and if that’s the case, give us a follow on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) and which are the organisations bringing them, here they are:

You can read more about these challenges on Hack Healthcare's webpage. And of course, you can still get your ticket here or get in contact with our our event manager Caterina at caterina@hackbelgium.be.

HackHealthcare happens on 31 May and 1 June at Area 42, just a few minutes walk from Brussels North train station.
