Hello <<First Name>>
We wish to give potential applicants the opening and closing dates for this year's Enterprise Fund, along with the guidance notes.
Enterprise Fund opening soon to support young growing businesses
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is calling for applications to its Enterprise Fund for the 2022 funding period. This fund is aimed at supporting young businesses to address barriers to growth using innovative approaches.
With over £250K already allocated, since its inception in 2017, the annual Enterprise Fund is aimed at young businesses less than two years old. All types of businesses are eligible, including but not limited to, manufacturing, services, hospitality, tourism, retail and construction.
Pictured at this year's Enterprise Fund launch are Julienne Elliott, Interim Head of Service, Prosperity and Place; the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Richard Holmes; Bridget McCaughan, Economic Development Officer (Entrepreneurship)
These funds have helped previous recipients to innovate, upscale and expand outside local markets, during a particularly challenging time, bringing a much needed boost to the local economy.
The diverse products and services offered by last year’s successful businesses include luxury home fragrances, boat cruises, wheelie bin cleaning, physiotherapy, beauty, electric vehicle charging point installers and professional virtual assistant services, to name just a few.
If your business is aged under two years old, be inspired to apply this year, by reading more about last year’s recipients here
In the meantime, please take a look at the guidance notes, to see if you are eligible to apply.
The Enterprise Fund opens Monday 4th April 2022 and closes Friday 29th April 2022 at 12 noon.

It is for each stakeholder within our local economy. Whether local businesses, local customers, local authorities, membership associations, government departments within the Executive or NGOs amongst many others, we are collectively on a mission to boost the micro and small business economy for the betterment of all.
“This year SEI has up to 50 programme places and €140,000 funding available to people all across Ireland who are stepping up with solutions to the social problems they see impacting their communities. It is often the people closest to the problems who have the best solutions, but the least resources to put those ideas into action.
SEI is encouraging anyone who has an innovative idea to solve a particular social problem to apply for a place on its Ideas Academy – aimed at those with an early-stage idea to solve a social problem or Impact Programme – aimed at high-potential social entrepreneurs looking to grow the impact of their organisation.
