FIRST CHAIR

The first day of spring officially arrived on Monday, but do not fret Alpine enthusiasts, the good news is there’s still plenty of good skiing and fun times to be had on the deck! With March Break now behind us, please note that the Club has shifted operationally to Saturdays & Sundays only.

Hours of Operation

Saturday, March 26th8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  and Night Skiing 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 27th8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

SIGNIFICANT DIGITS

Expect most terrain available this weekend along with our Hades, Heavenly and Revelation Quads operating, as well as the Pluto Magic Carpet.
It is hard to believe that we will be flipping the calendar to April later next week, and when we do, please keep an eye on available terrain and lift operating times, as both will be changing as we move further into spring.

BUSINESS OF THE CLUB
MASK MANDATE: This week the Ontario government lifted the mask mandate for most settings.
As the result of updated guidance from Public Health, effective immediately, the Club will no longer require members/guests to wear a mask to access the Club facilities. Masking requirements for indoor staff will remain in effect (employers continue to have a general duty to take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker).
The Club remains committed to keeping our community safe and healthy, and we strongly encourage members/guests continue to wear masks indoors, and we ask that everyone respects other people's choices.

DEVIL THAT YOU KNOW

Most Recreation Trails are in adequate shape, but there are some bare/muddy sections or sections of trails submerged in water. Please keep an eye out for: "caution" or "closed" signage indicating poor trail conditions or inaccessible sections of trail. Unfortunately, the Ski Skate Loops are now closed for the season.

THIS WEEKEND

Due to the dreary weather, we had last Saturday, the Spring Night Skiing event was postponed. We are excited to get it back on the calendar for this weekend. After lifts close as normal @ 4:30 pm, our Grooming Team will quickly refresh Limbo & River Styx in preparation to re-open the Hades Quad @ 5:00 pm for a few extra hours of skiing and riding enjoyment. The Hades Quad is scheduled to remain open until 7:30 pm.
Please note that only the Hades Quad lift and Limbo & River Styx trails will be available for Night Skiing. All other lifts and trails will close at 4:30 p.m. as normally scheduled.

ALPINE CONNECTION
What better way to wrap our race season than with some of our biggest events of the year! The FIS McConville Cup brought forward some of the best athletes as racers competed for their names to be the next featured on the Cup. The NEW Devils Dual was a HUGE success in its first year, and as always, the two-day U12 Mastermind race helped us finished things off with a bang! A BIG thank you to all of our volunteers - without you, these races wouldn’t be possible. Just because the race season is over, doesn’t mean our programs are. Click “Learn More” to see how AP is spending our remaining days on the snow.
