Come join us in celebrating the accomplishments and achievements of degree receiving GSAS students! During this event, we will spotlight the successes of those in our community who have reached their goal of getting their degree in the face of adversity and at times daunting obstacles. Whether you are getting an MA, a Ph.D., or any of the degrees on the path to the Ph.D., your achievements should be recognized and highlighted amongst friends and family. The event includes hors d’oeuvres, speeches from invited professors and scholars of color, and a keynote speech fromDr. Carl L. Hart.

The commencement is open to all graduate students at Columbia University
completing a degree in the (2020-2022) terms.
The ceremony will take place on May 10th from 2-6:00 pm
in the Low Library Rotunda.
