We hosted our first Advance mission team for a week in March! We had 16 students and 4 teachers from Wesleyan Christian in Norcross, GA take part in ministry and cross-cultural engagement. We saw God work in some remarkable ways in the hearts of these students and their chaperones. We also got to engage our diverse community here in Nashville and made new friends. It was amazing. We plan on hosting one or two teams like this every year. Please pray for fruit from many interactions and gospel conversations!
We were also privileged to host students and staff from Legacy Christian in Bowling Green, KY for a day-long Cultural Immersion Experience. We visited a Hindu temple and Islamic mosque. We were able to hear about Hinduism from the priest of the temple and Islam from the imam of the mosque. It was extraordinary! Not only did the students and their teachers gain a deeper understanding of both faith, but they learned how the Gospel contrasts with religion.
Our Gap Year Coordinators, Benja and Anna, along with myself (Josh) were able to take a trip to India to visit training centers and discuss some exciting ideas for future ministry in one of the most spiritually resistant places on planet Earth! Please pray as our conversations and planning are ongoing.
