We are very sorry to inform you that we are having to relaunch our consultation on proposed changes to the Cervical manipulation standard. We are doing this because we have belatedly discovered the draft proposed standard that was provided was the incorrect version.
This was due to a document version control error that we did not pick up. Our processes have now been changed to ensure that it does not happen again. All other documentation for the consultation was correct and the Sports Physiotherapy consultation that we have been running in tandem with this one has been unaffected.
We sincerely apologise to those practitioners who have already provided feedback on the proposed changed to the Cervical Manipulation Standard. We understand that your time is precious and we regret that it was not well spent on this consultation.
As a result of this error we have relaunched the consultation with the correct documentation. This is a very important standard as Cervical Manipulation is a restricted activity. We thank you for you patience and would greatly appreciate you providing your feedback on the corrected document.
