Hello again! Eeek it just seems two minutes since we were sending out our February Half Term newsletter and here we are counting down to Easter! As always in our FABULOUS city, there's loads going on, so make sure you have a good look at all the pages for ideas. Fingers crossed for some good weather so we can all get out in the fresh air and re-charge.

Wild about Lotherton

Go wild at Lotherton this Easter! We have a brand new event trail for 2022 which takes you around Lotherton Hall museum, Wildlife World, the gardens and the woods.

Become a little explorer and take part in crafts at our dedicated activity stations where you can explore your senses, help wildlife, make dens and embrace your wild side.

We will also have some bookable bushcraft, environmental art and bug hunting workshops available on certain dates.

This event is included with standard admission/free to members. We highly recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

Easter at Temple Newsam

Have an egg-citing day out at Temple Newsam hunting for decorated eggs hidden around the house and farm! Don’t forget to visit our new arrivals at Home Farm during your day out. Our spring time babies are sure to make your heart sing!

There’s plenty of other Easter themed activities to keep you busy during the school holidays too! On Friday 8 April get creative with clay to make an Easter egg cup and take inspiration from the Chinese wallpaper to create your very own gift wrap on Saturday 12 April.

The egg-straordinary Easter Adventure is back at Stockeld Park from the 2^nd – 24^th April!

This Easter the most egg-citing things are happening all around the park, including a new Rainbow Bunny Hunt! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Giant Easter Eggs around the park, which characters can you spot?

The Enchanted Forest is as magical as ever, with 5 Adventure Playgrounds and lots of interactive place, there’s something to see at every corner! Swings, slides, zip lines and ropes there’s endless fun to be had! LEEDS YOUNG FILM FESTIVAL

Leeds Young Film Festival is excited to be back at the Carriageworks Theatre this Easter from the 9th – 15th April, but things are not quite as they seem!

The future of filmmaking as we know it, is under threat. The Secret Silver Screen Society is running out of ideas for future films, and they need your help! Louise Le Prince and her friends Cuthbert, Gaia and Gus are in Leeds this Easter in one last attempt to save the future of film.

From 12th – 14th April Louise will be showing a selection of fantastic family films for everyone to enjoy including exciting new films from around the world with action, drama, and comedy suitable for children of all ages.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Join Louise after the film, grab your mission and visit Leeds City Museum, Leeds Central Library and Leeds Art Gallery!

SCS SPORTS CAMPS AT HAREWOOD

If you’re looking for active, educational camps for your children during school holidays, or want your children to play team games and access different sports in a supportive friendly environment, book with SCS Sports Camps Ltd! These multi-sports camps for 4-13 year olds are run by teachers, providing boys and girls age 4-13 the chance to play a variety of sports and team games at Gateways school.
