Antarctica is becoming more accessible, leading to its growing popularity. By trying to explore one of the last (almost) untouched places on Earth, people are having a growing impact on environmental change. In a special study of tourism activities, the authors calculated that each visitor effectively melts about 83 tonnes of snow, largely due to emissions from cruise ships.

What do you do if you do not have enough space? Well, you can look up to the sky. That's what the designers of the Mcdonalds restaurant in Terminal 1 of Sydney Airport did. Not only do they solve the space problem with infrastructure, but they also show their customers how they work through magical yellow glass, and they love it! Some even come to the airport just to see this particular Mcdonald's.

There was already tension over gentrification when Duolingo, a tech company that specializes in language learning, showed up in the Pittsburgh neighborhood. To prevent unfriendly relationships from building in the neighborhood, they hired Kendra Ross, a social impact manager.
